The "3 Minutes" Competition for Evaluating Graduate Students Theses in the Department of Information Networks

As part of enhancing the quality of scientific research and motivating graduate students (Master’s level) to present their theses in a professional and concise manner, the Department of Information Networks organized a special evaluation session for Master s theses in the "3 Minutes" competition today. The session was attended by an expert panel that included the following professors:


Prof. Dr. Saad Talib Hassoun (Chair)

Prof. Dr. Huda Najee Nawaf (Member)

Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mahdi Mohammed (Member)



Several Master s students participated in this session, presenting their theses within just three minutes in a distinguished and clear scientific manner. Each presentation stood out with rich content and an engaging delivery style that reflected the research efforts of the students.

The evaluation by the panel covered several aspects, most notably: the quality of the research, the presentation style, and the students’ ability to convey their ideas effectively and concisely. The panel also focused on how the research contributes to the advancement of the field of Information Networks.

The goal of this event is to encourage students to develop their research and presentation skills, while fostering innovation and creativity in graduate studies, which contributes to enhancing the level of scientific research within the department.
