As part of its ongoing efforts to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, the Information Networks Department at the College of Information Technology – University of Babylon continues its field visits to monitor third-stage students enrolled in the summer training program across various technical institutions and centers within and outside the university.

The summer training program represents a pivotal phase in student development, offering a valuable opportunity to connect classroom-acquired theoretical concepts with real-world technical skills and professional competencies. This program is designed to enhance students’ technical capabilities and deepen their understanding of the work environment through specialized lectures and intensive hands-on training in key areas such as telecommunications, internet technologies, data centers, cybersecurity, operating systems, and web application development.

These field visits align with the department’s academic strategy to closely monitor students’ progress on-site and to ensure they are making the most of their training experiences. The ultimate goal is to enhance their readiness for the labor market and to contribute to the cultivation of technically proficient graduates who can keep pace with the rapid advancements in the field of information technology.
