The Prime Minister of Iraq, Eng. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, has commended the efforts of Assistant Lecturer Ali Hussein Mahdi Aziz Al-Asadi, a faculty member in the Department of Information Networks at the College of Information Technology, University of Babylon. This recognition comes in appreciation of his active participation in the activities of the Higher Council for Youth within the Youth Ambassadors Program.

This acknowledgment reflects the government’s commitment to supporting academic and community-driven initiatives spearheaded by the Department of Information Networks. Such initiatives aim to instill a culture of volunteerism among students, recognizing it as a vital tool for strengthening social cohesion, fostering personal and professional skills, promoting mental well-being, and reinforcing values of belonging and civic responsibility.

Al-Asadi has built a distinguished record of voluntary engagements, contributing to the organization of numerous central and community-based campaigns and initiatives. Among his most notable contributions is the Youth Creativity Festival, which sought to support talented individuals, provide them with a platform to showcase their work, and extend assistance to vulnerable groups within society through various humanitarian campaigns.

On the academic front, Al-Asadi has presented numerous seminars and research papers at national forums, significantly enhancing the role of the College of Information Technology and the University of Babylon as active research centers. His scholarly contributions underscore the essential role of Iraqi universities in shaping national policies, offering practical expertise, and reaffirming that scientific research is a cornerstone for nation-building and for addressing the diverse challenges of society.
