Head of Information Networks Department Serves on PhD Dissertation Committee at Diyala University

Professor Dr. Alharith Abdul ALkarim Abdullah, Head of the Information Networks Department at the College of Information Technology – University of Babylon, participated as a committee member in the PhD dissertation defense of student I‘tisam Ahmed Abduljaleel at the College of Science – Diyala University.

The dissertation, titled "Developing a Risk Management Model for Iraqi Roads Based on the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence", presented the design of an integrated intelligent system that collects environmental and locational data using sensors and cameras. The data are then processed through artificial intelligence techniques to detect risks early and implement proactive maintenance plans aimed at enhancing road safety and operational efficiency.

Professor Dr. Harith’s participation reflects the College of Information Technology’s ongoing commitment to fostering academic collaboration with other universities, supporting scientific research, and advancing innovative technological solutions in the fields of networking and artificial intelligence.
