Under the theme “The Future of Women in Modern Scientific Disciplines in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, the College of Information Technology organized a seminar on Wednesday, September 17, led by Dr. Noor Fadel Hussein.
The discussion placed particular emphasis on the pillar of “protection and empowerment”, addressing strategies to ensure women’s active participation and long-term sustainability in technical fields. Dr. Hussein highlighted the importance of guiding women toward selecting academic disciplines that align with both their inherent skills and the evolving demands of the labor market, particularly in light of the technological transformation driven by artificial intelligence.
She stressed that providing proper guidance in choosing fields of study that resonate with women’s capabilities and are compatible with future job requirements serves as a preventive measure to safeguard their professional futures. Such alignment ensures equal access to rewarding opportunities within the rapidly advancing technology sector.
The event aimed to inspire women to pursue promising scientific fields and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to become influential contributors to the development of a knowledge-based economy.
