In the context of strengthening active academic engagement and openness to advanced scientific experiences and in line with the role of the College of Information Technology in promoting scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange with academic institutions Professor Dr Alharith Abdul Kareem Abdullah Head of the Department of Information Networks at the college participated in the scientific forum organized by the Department of Computer Engineering Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University entitled Sustainable Digital Transformation Integration of Modern Communication Technologies Computer Networks and Embedded Systems which represents an important scientific platform for presenting the latest developments in digital technologies.

As part of his participation he delivered a scientific workshop entitled The Future of Cybersecurity Quantum Networks in which he addressed the latest trends in cybersecurity in light of the evolution of quantum networks highlighting future challenges and opportunities offered by these technologies in building secure and advanced communication systems.

The workshop witnessed notable interaction from faculty members and students where discussions and exchanges of perspectives were conducted on several topics related to modern cybersecurity applications and the role of advanced technologies in protecting digital infrastructure.

This participation comes within the efforts of the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon to strengthen scientific collaboration and academic openness contributing to the advancement of research and keeping pace with the latest developments in modern technological fields
