In the presence of Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya Dean of the College of Information Technology, along with department heads, faculty members, and students, the Nabu Code Team\ Software Department organized a ceremony to announce this month’s winners of the IT Arena application.

The event commenced with a speech by the Dean, in which he expressed his pride and appreciation for this application, which has become a distinguished competitive platform showcasing students skills and excellence in various IT fields. He also highlighted that the competition was not limited to students alone but extended to faculty members and administrative staff as well, reflecting a spirit of creativity and perseverance within the college.

For their part, the Nabu Code Team explained that over the past period, they have been working on addressing several issues and user feedback within the application, which will be resolved in the upcoming update, scheduled for March. The team also listened to attendees suggestions regarding new features and tools that could enhance the user experience.

As part of these updates, the team announced that the upcoming version would feature a Ramadan-themed interface, adding a special touch in celebration of the holy month.

Regarding this month’s competition, the Department of Information Networks secured first place and was honored with the Excellence Shield, presented by the Dean to Professor Dr. Al-Harith Abdul Karim Abdullah, Head of the Department. In his speech, Dr. Al-Harith expressed his joy at this achievement, emphasizing that the victory was not just for his department but for the college as a whole.

This Month’s Winners:

- Winning Department: Department of Information Networks

- Winning Student: Haider Safaa – Department of Information Networks

- Winning Faculty Member: Ms. Duaa Wahab – Department of Software Engineering

At the conclusion of the ceremony, attendees praised the efforts of the Nabu Code Team and emphasized the significance of IT Arena in enhancing technical skills and fostering a competitive spirit among both students and faculty members.
