Under the slogan "Your Vote, Your Future," the Women s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Software Department, organized an awareness workshop for college students on the importance of voting and the role of individuals in decision-making. This initiative aligns with the Third National Plan and its pillar of participation and reform, which aims to enhance community engagement and empower youth. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Khawla Al-Maamouri and Dr. Hiba Mohammed.

The workshop included interactive sessions and open discussions on how political decisions impact young people s daily lives and their role in monitoring and accountability to ensure transparency in the electoral process. Additionally, a detailed explanation of the Third National Plan, the participation pillar, and the significance of reforms benefiting society was provided, emphasizing the active involvement of women and youth in public life and the development of a strong and cohesive society.

It is worth noting that this event is part of a series of activities implemented by the College of Information Technology to raise political and social awareness among young people and empower them to play an active role in decision-making.
