The College of Information Technology organized a workshop titled "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to Enhance the Quality of Scientific Research," presented by Dr. Raed Ghazi Hamid Al-Azzawi. The event was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and graduate students.

The workshop highlighted the significance of AI tools and applications in boosting researchers productivity, facilitating the preparation of research papers and theses, and showcased advanced technologies used in data analysis, advanced search, and the discovery of reliable scientific sources. It also emphasized the benefits these tools provide in improving research quality and accelerating its completion.

Particularly, the workshop focused on the role of AI as an assistant for graduate students in reducing effort and time, increasing productivity, and cutting costs associated with traditional research preparation methods. It also discussed the application of AI in proofreading, writing and editing texts, analyzing data, extracting immediate results, answering questions, and generating research ideas.
