As part of its ongoing efforts to promote cultural and intellectual activities, the College of Information Technology established a specialized committee to select students for participation in the "Ummatan Taqra" competition, organized by the Hussayniya Shrine. The committee consisted of professors from the three departments (Software, Information Networks, and Cybersecurity), tasked with evaluating and selecting the qualified students.

The selection process involved conducting scientific assessments based on topics chosen by the students themselves. After the evaluations, seven students from different departments of the college were selected to represent the College of Information Technology in the competition.

This competition provides an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their intellectual abilities and enhance their general knowledge, contributing to the advancement of their scientific and cultural awareness, reflecting the college’s continued efforts to promote academic excellence.
