College of Information Technology Participates in the Babylonian Civilization Festival at the Babylon Tourist Resort

As part of the ongoing efforts to revive cultural and historical heritage, the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon participated in the Babylonian Civilization Festival held at the Babylon Tourist Resort. The event saw the participation of several faculties from the University of Babylon, along with various cultural and artistic institutions.

During its participation, the college presented a range of scientific outcomes, software projects, and creative works that embody the intersection of modern technology and cultural identity. Students showcased high-quality projects inspired by the symbols and scripts of the Babylonian civilization, reimagined through innovative digital techniques.

Dr. Sura Zaki Naji, Associate Professor and Head of the Software Department, delivered a lecture as part of the central team at the scientific wing of the University of Babylon. She shared scientific insights on the importance of information technology in preserving and enhancing cultural heritage. The lecture received widespread appreciation from the attendees.

The festival s activities involved a large number of faculty members, staff, and students from the college, who excelled in presenting their scientific and cultural projects, significantly contributing to the college’s prominent presence at this landmark event.
