The College of Information Technology – Department of Information Networks organized its annual exhibition for the "Group Project" course, aiming to foster innovation and creativity among third-year students in the design and implementation of technical projects. These projects integrate microcontrollers, sensors, and electronic components, utilizing modern technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cybersecurity.

Students were divided into collaborative groups, with each group tasked with developing a project that addresses a real-world problem, while incorporating elements of sustainability and technological innovation. This initiative is part of the college’s broader strategy to bridge academic learning with practical application, and to enhance students’ skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. It reflects the college’s commitment to graduating qualified professionals capable of making impactful contributions in the fields of technology and innovation.

The exhibition showcased a remarkable collection of student projects that received wide appreciation from attendees. Several of the projects were selected to compete in local and international competitions, and some were accepted for publication in prestigious scientific conferences and journals.

Highlighted Projects:

- A smart system for managing energy consumption in buildings based on environmental conditions.
- An early warning system for migraine episodes using intelligent sensors.
- A fire-extinguishing robot capable of rapid response to fire locations.
- A simulation system for server security testing and vulnerability analysis.
- An autonomous robot for detecting and eliminating harmful weeds.
- A solar-powered smart irrigation system for efficient water usage in agriculture.
- A smart medication reminder system to ensure consistent dosing in critical cases.
- A greywater recycling system for non-potable reuse.
- A vertical smart farming system designed for homes and sustainable cities.
- A driver fatigue detection system using blink rate sensors.
- An intelligent sound-to-sensory alert system for the hearing impaired.
- A GPS-based system to locate the nearest blood donor.
- An environmental warning system to detect sunrise delay and assess agricultural suitability using satellite data.

This annual exhibition continues to serve as a platform for students to transform theoretical knowledge into practical, innovative solutions that address contemporary challenges.
