College of Information Technology Organizes Annual Graduation Project Exhibition

The College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon held its annual exhibition showcasing the graduation projects of fourth-year students, as part of the university’s Cultural Week activities. The event was honored by the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Ameen Al-Yasiri, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya, along with the college’s vice deans, heads of academic departments, faculty members, and distinguished guests from various academic and technical sectors.

The exhibition featured a remarkable selection of graduation projects that demonstrated the technical expertise and creative potential of the college s students. These projects spanned diverse fields, most notably artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software engineering, web and mobile applications, in addition to developmental projects aligned with the goals of sustainable development.

During his tour of the exhibition, the University President expressed his deep admiration for the advanced level of the projects, commending the dedication of both students and their supervisors. He reaffirmed the university’s ongoing support for student-led innovative initiatives and its commitment to transforming these projects into real-world applications that serve both the university and the wider community.

Several attendees also voiced their appreciation for the exhibition’s innovative ideas and advanced technical models, praising the high academic standard of the students and the excellent organization of the event. They emphasized that such projects reflect an educational environment that fosters innovation and keeps pace with modern technological demands.

This exhibition underscores the college’s commitment to strengthening the practical skills of its students and encouraging technological innovation, in line with its vision to prepare qualified graduates capable of meeting labor market demands and contributing effectively to societal development.

The College of Information Technology extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Saad Mubarak, Head of the Artists’ Syndicate – Babylon Branch, for his distinguished participation through an artistic display that captured the cultural heritage of the city, adding a beautiful traditional touch to the event.

Special thanks are also extended to the esteemed deans of the participating colleges, as well as to Zain Iraq, Al-Nabaa Company, and all supporting organizations whose valuable contributions played a significant role in the success of the exhibition.
