The Department of Software Engineering at the College of Information Technology, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific seminar titled “The Potential of Digital Platforms in Reducing Suicidal Behaviors.” The seminar was delivered by Dr. Mazin Kadhim Hameed, Programmer Sarah Haider Hashem, and Programmer Sinan Ali, and was attended by a group of faculty members and students from the college.

The seminar shed light on the increasingly vital role of digital platforms in raising awareness about mental health and mitigating suicidal behaviors. It emphasized how these platforms can provide immediate and confidential psychological support, educational content, online counseling services, and safe virtual communities.
