Launch of the "Riyada" Initiative Training Program with the Participation of the College of Information Technology to Empower Iraqi Youth Duhaa Fadill Abbas With the active participation of the College of Information Technology, the training program of the "Riyada" initiative—launched by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Iraq—has officially commenced. The program is held in collaboration with the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University of Babylon and takes place at the Riyada Hall on campus. The training is scheduled to run for five consecutive days. The opening day featured a lecture delivered by Engineer Mustafa Falah Kadhim, a teaching assistant in the Department of Information Networks at the College. His session focused on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, strategies for establishing small-scale projects, and showcased successful youth-led initiatives. He is also set to continue delivering lectures throughout the remaining four days of the program. The primary objective of the training is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to develop entrepreneurial ventures and facilitate access to funding opportunities. This initiative is designed to support the private sector and align with the evolving demands of the Iraqi labor market. The program will include practical workshops and specialized lectures over the coming days, concentrating on feasibility study preparation, marketing strategies, funding application processes, and the development of leadership and teamwork skills. It is worth noting that the "Riyada" initiative seeks to empower Iraqi youth by providing technical and financial support for their projects. The initiative aims to create new job opportunities, promote sustainable development, and foster a culture of innovation and productivity within the community.
