As part of the college s ongoing commitment to improving the academic environment and providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for students, the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon has launched a comprehensive cleaning campaign targeting its courtyards, gardens, and public spaces. The campaign included tree pruning, pathway cleaning, and maintenance of student seating areas, all executed with exceptional dedication by the staff of the Administrative Division.

The campaign was carried out under the direct supervision and continuous follow-up of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya, who emphasized the importance of maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the campus. He noted that such efforts contribute significantly to fostering a positive academic spirit among students and faculty members alike.

Key activities of the campaign involved thorough cleaning of both interior and exterior walkways, systematic organization of green areas through trimming and shaping of trees and plants, and refurbishing student seating to ensure comfort and usability.

This initiative is part of a broader series of developmental actions undertaken by the college to enhance its service and environmental standards and to provide an educational environment that reflects the institution’s dedication to excellence for its students and staff.
