Faculty Member from the Department of Information Networks Participates in the "Youth Ambassadors" Program at the National Youth Camp to Promote Youth Empowerment and Community Leadership

As part of the initiative launched by the Prime Minister s Office and the Supreme Council for Youth – Iraq, Assistant Lecturer Ali Hussein Mahdi Aziz Al-Asadi, a faculty member in the Department of Information Networks and a representative of the Youth Ambassadors of Babylon (First District), took part in the National Youth Camp of Iraq, held in Erbil from July 8 to July 12, 2025.

During the camp, Al-Asadi participated in a specialized training course on Community Leadership, conducted by certified trainer Imad Al-Fahd. This program is part of the Iraqi government’s broader efforts to empower youth, enhance their skills, and cultivate their leadership potential—ultimately preparing them to serve as vital liaisons between the government and society.

His participation also reflects the College of Information Technology’s ongoing commitment to supporting the professional development of its academic staff and investing in initiatives that align with national goals for youth engagement and capacity-building.
