On Monday September 1, 2025, the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon officially commenced the final examinations / second round for students of both undergraduate (bachelor’s) and postgraduate (master’s and doctoral) programs across its three academic departments: Software, Information Networks, and Cybersecurity.

The examinations were conducted in a highly organized and disciplined academic atmosphere, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya, who personally inspected the examination halls to oversee the progress of the exams. He emphasized the College’s commitment to providing an optimal environment that enables students to perform their assessments with ease and confidence.

Heads of the academic departments – Assistant Professor Dr. Sara Zaki Al-Rashed, Head of the Software Department, Professor Dr. Al-Hareth Abdul Kareem Abdullah, Head of the Information Networks Department, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalafah Ubaid, Head of the Cybersecurity Department – also conducted inspection rounds of the examination halls. They praised the efforts of the examination committees, academic staff, and administrative teams for their dedication in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination process.

In his remarks, the Dean underscored the importance of examinations as a fundamental stage in evaluating the academic performance of students, stressing the necessity of adhering to the Ministry’s regulations and rigorous academic standards. He further commended the collaborative efforts of the faculty and staff in creating a supportive and well-structured examination environment.

The College administration extended its best wishes for success to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, reaffirming its continuous commitment to advancing educational and research excellence and to promoting the academic standing of the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon.
