The Department of Software convened a meeting with its faculty members, chaired by Dr. Suraa Zaki Naji, Head of the Department, and attended by Dr. Haider Kazem Zgair, the Department’s Rapporteur. The meeting opened with a welcome address marking the beginning of the new academic year, followed by a presentation of the directives issued by the University Presidency and the College Deanery.

The discussions covered several departmental matters, including the formation of committees, graduation project topics, and summer training reports. Special attention was given to the requirements for implementing the Bologna Process, particularly with respect to third-year students. These deliberations reflect the Department’s ongoing commitment to improving academic and administrative performance in support of the educational mission and to strengthening its academic standing.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Department’s leadership emphasized the importance of collective effort and teamwork in fostering an outstanding academic environment. Faculty members were encouraged to maintain dedication and commitment, with the aim of elevating student performance and achieving the Department’s aspirations for the new academic year.
