College of Information Technology Hosts Annual Meeting of the Women’s Affairs Division

The College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon hosted the annual meeting of the Women’s Affairs Division, attended by the Division’s Director at the University Presidency, as well as unit coordinators and liaison officers from various university colleges. Dr. Noor Fadel, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, welcomed the attendees and coordinated the activities of the meeting.

The meeting addressed several key topics, including reviewing the division’s plans for the current year, enhancing the division’s role in monitoring student programs, expanding cultural and awareness activities, and strengthening collaboration among university colleges to increase women’s participation in academic and social initiatives. Discussions also covered expanding the support and guidance network for female students and following up on the division’s initiatives in self-development and leadership skills for university women.

The Division Director emphasized the importance of enhancing communication between the colleges and the central division, and providing continuous support to students through activities, workshops, and training programs, contributing to the university’s goals of empowering women and fostering an inclusive educational environment.
