College of Information Technology Holds Seminar Titled “How to Lead Your Team to Success in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” as Part of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women Duhaa Fadill Abbas The College of Information Technology organized a scientific seminar entitled “How to Lead Your Team to Success in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” on Sunday, 7 December 2025, as part of the implementation plan of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women – Second Pillar, First Objective. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Noor Fadhil Hussein, with the attendance of a group of faculty members, students, and individuals interested in the field of digital leadership. The seminar addressed the major transformations taking place in the labor market alongside the expanding use of artificial intelligence technologies, emphasizing that contemporary leadership is no longer based solely on traditional skills. Instead, it now requires a deep understanding of intelligent tools and the ability to employ them to enhance performance, improve decision-making, and foster innovation within teams and institutions. Dr. Noor explained that building a successful team in this era begins with developing both emotional and digital intelligence among leaders, followed by creating a supportive, data-driven work environment, and culminating in empowering women and strengthening their leadership roles in technological fields. She also discussed the key challenges facing leaders amid rapid automation, as well as strategies for overcoming them through continuous training and cultivating a culture of learning. At the conclusion of the seminar, the floor was opened for discussion, during which participants raised questions about the most influential AI tools and ways to integrate them into modern management practices. Attendees affirmed the importance of continuing such events for the valuable knowledge they provide, enabling Iraqi women to perform their leadership roles effectively in a rapidly evolving world.
