ITC Coder Team Organizes Field Awareness Campaign on Safe Internet Use and Personal Data Protection

As part of the College of Information Technology’s efforts to enhance digital awareness among youth, the ITC Coder Team, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, conducted a field awareness campaign visiting several schools in Babil Governorate under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Noha Karim Hamid.

The campaign included visits to Imam Ali Preparatory School for Boys and Al-Murouj Intermediate School for Girls, where the team delivered an interactive workshop on safe internet use and personal data protection. The workshop focused on teaching students the fundamentals of digital security and how to handle personal information safely across online networks.

The workshop featured practical demonstrations and awareness tips encouraging students to adopt safe digital behaviors and protect their privacy online. It also included interactive sessions to address students’ questions and enhance their understanding of internet risks and preventive measures.

This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by the college to support the educational community in Babil, raise digital awareness among students, and prepare them to use technology safely and responsibly.
