Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Inspects the Progress of Undergraduate Examinations at the College of Information Technology

As part of the continuous follow-up of the educational and examination process, and in line with the University Presidency’s commitment to providing an appropriate academic environment for undergraduate students, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Al-Khafaji, conducted an inspection visit to the examination halls hosting the final undergraduate examinations at the College of Information Technology, in order to closely review the progress of the examinations and the mechanisms adopted for their organization and implementation.

The inspection tour was accompanied by the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Wissam Sameer Bhaya, along with the Dean’s Assistants and the Heads of the scientific departments. The visit included a number of examination halls across different academic stages and departments, aiming to assess the level of organization, discipline, and adherence to established regulations.
During the tour, the visiting delegation reviewed the procedures in place within the examination halls, the methods of distributing examination papers, and the extent to which students and examination committees were complying with the ministerial and university examination instructions. The delegation also ensured the availability of essential logistical requirements and a suitable academic atmosphere that enables students to complete their examinations smoothly and with confidence.

Professor Dr. Al-Khafaji emphasized the importance of strict adherence to examination regulations and instructions, and the necessity of providing a fair and transparent environment that guarantees equal opportunities for all students. He commended the efforts exerted by the College’s administration, as well as the academic and administrative staff, in organizing the examinations, noting that such efforts reflect a strong commitment to maintaining the quality of the educational process and enhancing academic standards.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Wissam Sameer Bhaya, expressed his appreciation for the inspection visit, affirming that the College had completed all necessary preparations to ensure the success of the final undergraduate examinations. These preparations included the readiness of examination halls, the provision of supervisory and monitoring staff, and full compliance with approved examination guidelines. He further stressed that the College places students’ interests at the forefront of its priorities and continuously strives to support their academic journey.
This inspection visit forms part of a series of field visits conducted by the University Presidency to monitor the progress of examinations across its colleges, assess the overall examination process, and address any potential challenges, thereby reinforcing the quality of higher education and achieving the intended academic and educational objectives.
