Department of Software Holds Meeting with Dormitory Students to Enhance Academic Communication and Student Support

As part of its objectives aimed at strengthening direct communication with students and addressing their academic and residential needs, the Department of Software at the College of Information Technology organized a meeting with dormitory students. The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Sura Zaki Naji, Head of the Department, Dr. Haider Faris Naji, Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program, Dr. Raed Ghazi Hamid Al-Azzawi, and Dr. Khawla Kazem Mohammed.

The meeting included extensive discussions with students regarding the daily academic challenges they face, methods for organizing study and dormitory life, and suggestions for improving the living and learning environment. Academic matters related to curricula, research projects, and effective communication with faculty members were also addressed. All student concerns and feedback were meticulously recorded to be submitted to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for review and appropriate action.

Dr. Sura Zaki Naji emphasized the department’s commitment to supporting students by providing a stimulating and secure academic environment that enhances their productivity and ensures their comfort during dormitory stays. She highlighted the importance of continuing such meetings to foster constructive dialogue between students and the department, thereby advancing their educational journey and improving the overall academic performance and quality within the College.
