College of Information Technology Demonstrates Distinguished Participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Week at the University of Babylon

In an academic scene reflecting a spirit of innovation and ambition, students of the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon took part in a distinguished and impactful manner in the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Amin Ajil Al-Yasiri, and supervised by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Kazem Al-Khafaji.
The College’s participation was aligned with its strategic objectives aimed at fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, while empowering students to design technological solutions that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The students presented a series of pioneering projects addressing contemporary developmental challenges, offering applied models that demonstrated their awareness of the vital role of technology in serving society.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya, along with the Heads of the academic departments and a number of faculty members, who were keen to support the students and closely follow their presentations. Their presence reflected the College’s firm commitment to nurturing student talent and encouraging them to confidently engage in entrepreneurial experiences.
The students’ projects received remarkable acclaim and unanimous praise from academics, experts, and entrepreneurs in attendance.
