Scientific Seminar at the College of Information Technology on the Role of Technology in Enhancing Women’s Efficiency in the Private Labor Market

As part of a series of scientific seminars in the field of Information Technology, a seminar entitled “Technology and Increasing Women’s Efficiency in the Private Labor Market” was held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics including Dr. Sura Zaki, Dr. Ru’a Safaa, and Ms. Intithar Fadhil Ubaid, and was attended by a number of male and female students interested in the topics of women’s empowerment and technology.

The seminar addressed the theme of the pillars of participation and institutional reform, where the speakers discussed the role of modern technologies in enhancing women’s capabilities and empowering them to actively participate in the private sector. The discussion also highlighted the challenges faced by women in the labor market and explored ways to address them through the effective use of technological tools and the development of digital skills.

The seminar also emphasized the importance of developing women’s technical competencies and creating new opportunities to increase their economic participation, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and strengthening women’s presence across various professional sectors.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the participants stressed the importance of continuing to organize such scientific activities that shed light on the role of technology in supporting and empowering women and enhancing their contribution to the labor market.
