In line with the objectives of the Google Developer Student Club at the College of Information Technology, University of Babylon, which aim to support students, develop their technical capabilities, and create effective connections between students and professional expertise in the field of information technology, the club organized a new session as part of the Ramadan Bytes program. This initiative represents one of the club’s key student-led activities designed to share real-world experiences and enhance professional awareness among students specializing in technical fields.

The session featured an interactive discussion moderated by the host Bara’a Basim, the club’s leader, who welcomed the distinguished guest Mohammed Adnan, a Backend Software Engineer, Sound Engineer, and accomplished academic researcher. During the session, the guest highlighted key milestones of his academic and professional journey, beginning with his early involvement in programming in 2017 through working with Python and Machine Learning technologies, followed by his academic achievements and later his experience in the field of sound engineering as well as his engagement in technical and community initiatives within Iraq.

The discussion also addressed several important aspects related to building a professional career in the technology sector. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of diversifying expertise and acquiring practical skills alongside academic knowledge, as well as the crucial role of continuous learning and personal initiative in shaping a successful professional path in programming and modern technological fields.

The session witnessed notable engagement from students through questions and discussions that enriched the dialogue and provided valuable insights into real experiences within the technology job market. This activity reflects the vital role played by the Google Developer Student Club in supporting the developer student community and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the College of Information Technology.
