College of Information Technology Organizes a Seminar on Modern Education and Technology

As part of its developmental plan for the year 2026, and within a series of activities aimed at promoting technological and educational awareness, the College of Information Technology organized a scientific seminar entitled “Modern Education: Usage and Technology” on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

The seminar, which was held in Hall Six of the college, was delivered by Ms. Abrar Saad and Ms. Zahraa Mazen, and was attended by a number of male and female students from the college. The speakers addressed key themes related to digital education and examined the growing impact of technology on shaping learning patterns and influencing social behavior.

This seminar was organized within the framework of the Participation and Institutional Reform Pillar, and aimed to highlight the importance of keeping pace with technological developments in the educational process. It also emphasized effective ways of utilizing digital tools in a positive manner that contributes to the development of students’ academic and personal skills, while stressing the need to promote a culture of safe and responsible use of technology.

This event represents a continuation of the efforts of the College of Information Technology to support the path of institutional reform and strengthen active participation by providing specialized programs and academic lectures. These initiatives aim to prepare an aware generation capable of positively engaging with the rapid developments of the digital era, thereby enhancing their educational journey and future professional prospects.
