As part of the College of Information Technology’s ongoing commitment to developing its infrastructure and enhancing its educational environment, the college welcomed the Assistant President of the University of Babylon for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Methaq Talib Al-Jibori, accompanied by Assistant Lecturer Engineer Amir Al-Shammari, Director of the Construction and Projects Department, to conduct a field visit and review the plans and architectural designs for the proposed Artificial Intelligence building at the college.
They were received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya, and the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Amir Al-Haq Adel Sahib, where the visit included a detailed presentation of the project’s key components, along with discussions on the technical and engineering aspects of the planned facility. The project aligns with the university’s strategic direction toward digital transformation and keeping pace with rapid advancements in the field of artificial intelligence.
During the visit, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs emphasized the significance of this strategic project, describing it as a qualitative step toward strengthening the position of the College of Information Technology as a leading academic and research hub. He also highlighted the university’s commitment to providing an integrated educational and research environment that fosters innovation and creativity among students and researchers.
