New Specialized Books Enrich the Knowledge Resources of the College of Information Technology Library at the University of Babylon Duhaa Fadill Abbas The Library of the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon has recently received a distinguished collection of modern and specialized books, marking a valuable addition to its academic and research resources. This initiative reflects a spirit of scientific collaboration and intellectual contribution aimed at supporting students and researchers. These publications provide a meaningful opportunity to broaden knowledge horizons, particularly in interdisciplinary fields that bridge law and technology—areas that have become increasingly essential in today’s digital era, such as artificial intelligence and information security. The newly acquired books address a range of contemporary and significant topics, including the philosophy and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, cybercrimes such as cyber extortion, as well as digital innovation and modern forensic investigation techniques. Such content contributes to fostering a deeper understanding of current digital challenges. The College affirms its ongoing commitment to providing a comprehensive academic environment and encourages its students to actively engage with the library and benefit from these valuable resources, believing that the journey of knowledge begins with a single step—and that step is a book. It is worth noting that these books were generously donated by Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, a specialist in criminal law and an expert in digital legislation. The College extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude for this commendable scientific initiative.
