In alignment with the strategic vision of the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon to strengthen academic integration and enhance the quality of the educational process, and as part of its continuous efforts to modernize assessment methodologies in accordance with contemporary academic standards, the Software Department conducted a joint examination for the academic year 2025–2026 in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology, College of Science, at Al-Israa University. This initiative falls ضمن established frameworks of inter-university academic cooperation and aims to unify assessment standards across corresponding departments, thereby reinforcing academic rigor and consistency.

The examination process was carried out within a highly organized and controlled environment, under the direct supervision of a joint committee comprising faculty members from both institutions. This oversight ensured adherence to approved academic standards, as well as the maintenance of transparency, integrity, and discipline throughout the examination proceedings.

Such joint examinations serve to promote objective and equitable evaluation practices, elevate students’ academic performance, and adopt standardized assessment approaches that accurately reflect learning outcomes while aligning with modern trends in higher education systems.

This collaboration represents a significant step toward expanding academic partnerships and fostering the exchange of expertise between educational institutions, ultimately contributing to the advancement of higher education quality in Iraq and reinforcing the alignment of Iraqi universities with global academic standards.
