As part of supporting extracurricular activities and fostering students’ abilities while developing their diverse skills and in line with the commitment to providing an integrated university environment that enhances physical and social aspects alongside academic achievement the Department of Student Activities at the University of Babylon in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit at the College of Information Technology organized a friendly match that brought together students from the college’s scientific departments in a positive and competitive atmosphere aimed at promoting teamwork sportsmanship and the development of students’ various skills.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College and the heads of scientific departments who emphasized through their presence the importance of such activities in shaping the university student’s personality and enhancing leadership and social skills alongside academic excellence praising the high level of engagement and enthusiasm demonstrated by the participating students.

The match featured a dynamic and competitive atmosphere that reflected a strong spirit of teamwork among students while also strengthening communication and cooperation within a stimulating academic environment that contributes to developing their capabilities beyond the classroom setting.

This activity aims to encourage students to actively participate in purposeful university initiatives given their vital role in strengthening a sense of belonging to the academic institution and preparing a well rounded generation equipped with both scientific knowledge and practical skills required to meet the demands of university life and the labor market
This initiative comes inside a series of activities that the College of Information Technology is keen to support contributing to the creation of a balanced educational environment that integrates academic achievement with student engagement while fostering creativity and excellence among students
