As part of the College of Information Technology’s preparations to meet the requirements of standardized examinations strengthen student readiness and provide an appropriate academic environment and stemming from its commitment to applying quality standards in academic assessment and advancing mechanisms for measuring learning outcomes the Department of Cybersecurity conducted the pilot standardized examination for the course Software Security Principles as part of an organized process aimed at evaluating students’ actual level of preparedness and training them on the format of the approved standardized examinations.

This examination comes within the department’s efforts to enhance students’ scientific competence and strengthen their readiness in both the theoretical and practical aspects related to software security in addition to familiarizing them with the nature of the questions and examination procedures in a manner that contributes to reducing challenges they may encounter in the final examination.

The examination was monitored through field follow up by members of the College Council who inspected the progress of the examination and reviewed the organizational procedures in place alongside the designated committee and specialized faculty members to ensure its smooth implementation and high level of organization reflecting the department’s commitment to providing a rigorous examination environment that supports the quality of the educational process and aligns with the requirements of academic assessment.

Through this step the Department of Cybersecurity reaffirms its continuous commitment to preparing students in the best possible manner and enhancing their ability to undertake standardized examinations efficiently in ways that contribute to advancing academic standards and achieving distinguished educational outcomes.
