College of Information Technology Hosts Prominent Officials and Leading Institutions at Its Annual Exhibition in the Presence of the University President

As part of its commitment to strengthening collaboration between academia and both public and private sector institutions, the College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon hosted a distinguished group of prominent officials and professional entities during its Annual Student Projects Exhibition. The event was held under the patronage and presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bahya, in a scene that reflects the College’s advanced standing within the academic and technological landscape.
The exhibition witnessed the participation of a wide range of governmental bodies, professional organizations, and specialized companies, including the First Deputy Governor of Babylon, representatives from Hala Babylon Company, the Iraqi Programmers Syndicate, Hammurabi Consulting Group, Anbar Operations Command, the Directorate of Communications and Information Systems, the Technical Assistant Commander of Babylon Police, the Urban Planning Directorate in Babylon, Al-Kafeel Center for Information Technology, the Administrative Assistant to the Governor, the Vice President of the Babylon Chamber of Commerce, representatives from the Ministry of Interior, the Cybersecurity Directorate, Babylon Police Command, Karbala Businessmen Union, and the Communications and Information Security Department at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine.
This hosting initiative reflects the College’s strategic approach to fostering direct engagement between its students and key stakeholders in the labor market. It aims to enhance opportunities for collaboration, facilitate knowledge exchange, and provide insight into institutional demands for technical expertise. Moreover, it supports student projects by encouraging their evolution into practical, real-world solutions capable of adoption and further development.
During a guided tour led by the University President alongside the distinguished guests, attendees explored a diverse range of advanced technical projects that demonstrated high levels of creativity and professional competence among students. The visiting delegations expressed strong admiration for the innovative ideas and practical applications presented, affirming the students’ ability to contribute effectively across various sectors.
