College of Information Technology Conducts the Electronic Competitive Examination for Postgraduate Applicants Amid Outstanding Organization and Comprehensive Preparations

The College of Information Technology at the University of Babylon conducted the electronic competitive examination for applicants seeking admission to postgraduate programs for the 2026–2027 academic year on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The examination was held across the College’s three academic departments: Software, Information Networks, and Cybersecurity. The process was carried out in a highly organized environment supported by comprehensive technical and logistical preparations that ensured an optimal examination setting for all applicants.
The examination was conducted under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Babylon, Professor Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, and the close follow-up of the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya, in the presence of the Assistant Deans and Heads of Academic Departments, who monitored the progress of the examination and reviewed the level of readiness and organization within the examination halls and computer laboratories.
The College provided all the technical and administrative requirements necessary for the successful conduct of the examination by equipping the electronic laboratories with the latest technological resources, ensuring the readiness of computer systems, communication networks, and approved electronic platforms. In addition, specialized technical support teams were assigned to continuously monitor the examination process and respond immediately to any unforeseen technical issues, thereby ensuring smooth operation and maintaining a stable examination environment throughout the examination period.
Furthermore, examination committees and invigilators closely supervised the examination in accordance with the regulations and guidelines established by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, fairness, and integrity for all applicants.
Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wesam Sameer Bhaya, affirmed that the College mobilized all its human and technical resources to ensure the success of the competitive examination and provided all essential requirements in compliance with the instructions and regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, including those related to the nature of the examination questions as well as organizational and logistical arrangements. He also commended the significant efforts made by the examination committees and the academic, technical, and administrative staff in accomplishing this important academic undertaking.
In his concluding remarks, Professor Dr. Bhaya extended his best wishes to all participants for success and excellence in their academic pursuits, expressing his hope that they would continue their scientific and research journeys in ways that contribute to the development of specialized expertise and support the advancement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
