The Software Department at the College of Information Technology held the graduation project discussions for fourth-year students in an academically enriched and interactive environment. The process was meticulously organized through the formation of 12 specialized academic committees, distributed across various classrooms and laboratories within the department, during which 67 students presented and defended their projects. This systematic approach ensured the smooth flow and integrity of the evaluation process.
The presented projects demonstrated a high level of distinction, creativity, and technical proficiency. They reflected the depth of knowledge and practical skills students had acquired over the course of their academic journey. Topics covered a broad spectrum of cutting-edge fields, including artificial intelligence, software development, data analysis, and cloud computing—showcasing the students’ ability to translate theoretical understanding into real-world applications.
The discussions were conducted under the supervision and direct follow-up of the Head of the Software Department, Dr. Sura Zaki Naji, who emphasized the significance of this stage in shaping students’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and professional readiness.
Committee members praised the students for their innovative ideas and their ability to present viable technological solutions, affirming that the projects demonstrated a strong readiness to enter the workforce and contribute meaningfully to the technology sector.
These discussions form part of the department’s broader vision to promote applied learning, research excellence, and innovation—while striving to prepare highly competent graduates equipped to meet the dynamic demands of the software industry.
