A Detailed Seminar by PhD Candidate Nuha Hussein Hadi Jawad at the Department of Software – College of Information Technology – University of Babylon

As part of the scientific activities organized by the Department of Software at the College of Information Technology, University of Babylon, PhD candidate Nuha Hussein Hadi Jawad delivered a detailed seminar on her dissertation entitled “Applying Artificial Intelligence Techniques to Enhance Resource Management and Ensure Fault Tolerance in Cloud Computing Environments.” The seminar was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahdi Saleh Naamah and attended by a distinguished scientific committee comprising specialized faculty members.

During the seminar, the student presented a comprehensive scientific overview of her research objectives, focusing on addressing the growing challenges in cloud computing environments, including resource heterogeneity, dynamic nature, task failures, and unfair load distribution. She introduced four innovative models aimed at achieving optimal performance and high reliability. These included the FPSS model, which leverages frequent pattern mining and multi-criteria evaluation to enhance server selection, and the WLDRD model, which dynamically distributes requests based on server capabilities and workload demands.
