Department of Software at the College of Information Technology Establishes a Ramadan Corner in Celebration of the Holy Month

With the gentle arrival of the blessed month, carrying meanings of mercy and tranquility and infused with an atmosphere of spirituality and social harmony, the corridors of the College of Information Technology were adorned with a distinctive Ramadan ambiance. The Department of Software at the College of Information Technology, University of Babylon, initiated the establishment of a Ramadan corner within the college as a symbolic space reflecting the values of the holy month and fostering a spirit of affection and solidarity among faculty members and students.
This initiative was organized under the supervision and follow up of the Head of the Department, Dr. Sura Zaki Naji, and was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wissam Sameer Bahya, along with a number of faculty members and students. The Ramadan corner presented a harmonious and aesthetically thoughtful setting that embodied the symbolism of the holy month and highlighted its values of generosity, tolerance, and meaningful human connection within the academic community.
The activity contributed to creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere across the university campus, reaffirming the College’s commitment to supporting social and cultural initiatives that strengthen institutional belonging and reinforce positive relationships among all members of the academic family.
