As part of the activities of the Artificial Intelligence Forum titled “A Digital Mind for Community Service,” organized by the Department of Software at the College of Information Technology, the Department announces the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Excellence Competition.
This initiative aims to foster creativity and enhance students’ technical competencies by encouraging them to develop innovative technological solutions that contribute meaningfully to community service and sustainable development. The competition reflects the Department’s commitment to promoting applied knowledge and empowering students to translate their academic expertise into impactful, real-world projects.
Projects submitted to the competition must fall within one of the following technological domains: mobile applications, web development, electronic games, artificial intelligence projects, Arduino and Internet of Things (IoT) systems, and AI-based digital manipulation detection. Participants are granted full flexibility in selecting their project ideas, provided that they align with one of the specified fields.
The submission period extends until 27/3/2026, commencing from 1/3/2026, allowing students adequate time to conceptualize, design, and implement their projects according to academic and technical standards.
The competition offers valuable prizes and certificates of appreciation to the winning projects, recognizing excellence, innovation, and technical distinction.
The Department of Software extends its best wishes to all participants for success and outstanding achievement, reaffirming its dedication to nurturing a generation equipped with advanced digital skills and a strong sense of social responsibility.
