The Department of Cybersecurity Organizes a Workshop on Career Opportunities for Graduates

As part of its continuous efforts to prepare students for the job market and introduce them to potential career paths, the Department of Cybersecurity at the College of Information Technology organized a workshop titled “Career Opportunities for Cybersecurity Graduates.” The workshop was led by internationally certified trainer Mr. Ali Anwar Issa and attended by the Dean of the College, academic department heads, faculty members, and a large number of students eager to explore opportunities in this dynamic field.
During the workshop, the speaker provided valuable insights into the skills and knowledge required to enter the cybersecurity job market successfully. He emphasized the importance of acquiring a balanced mix of technical, analytical, and soft skills to keep pace with the rapid developments in the industry. Additionally, he discussed future trends in cybersecurity, highlighting how digital transformation is shaping the industry and increasing the demand for skilled professionals to combat evolving cyber threats.
A key focus of the workshop was the critical role of cybersecurity in today’s world, particularly in safeguarding sensitive data at individual, corporate, and governmental levels.
